Valued for her practical and client-focused advice, Megan has extensive experience acting for property developers, purchasers, vendors, government agencies, financiers, leading corporates, landlords and tenants with respect to commercial negotiations, business acquisitions and structuring, development projects, sales and purchases, leasing, building contracts, land divisions and community titles. Appropriate structuring should have well documented succession planning for both your business and personal assets and Megan is able to assist clients with this important process as well.
Megan is a Past President of the Queensland Law Society and a former Executive Director of the Law Council of Australia.
Megan's contribution to the Legal Profession and support of fellow professionals has been recognised many times, with the highlights being awarded the QLS 2017 President’s Medal, the WLAQ 2009 Woman Lawyer of the Year and in her appointments as a Notary Public, as a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Law and as a Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand College of Notaries.
As well as being a Member of the Practitioner Panel of the Qld Civil and Administrative Tribunal (QCAT) and a Full TEP member (Trust and Estate Practitioner), Megan is also a Director of the Australian Cervical Cancer Foundation and a member of the Griffith University Innocence Project Advisory Board.
