Michael Small is the Director responsible for the Family & Relationship team and the Business & Estate Planning team and has extensive experience in family law, taxation law and business law. Michael has been selected and recognised by his peers for inclusion in the 12th Edition of The Best Lawyers in Australia in Family Law (2020 Award).
Michael holds a Bachelor of Laws degree and was admitted as a Solicitor in Queensland and New South Wales in 1991. He is an Accredited Family Law Specialist and one of the few Lawyers in Australia to have a Post Graduate Diploma in Family Law. Michael is also a Chartered Tax adviser, who together with our tax team seeks to incorporate tax effective solutions into his clients overall strategy.
