An insurance law specialist since admission in 2006, Natasha is also a personal injury expert having achieved her Accredited Specialist (Personal Injury Law) qualification through the Law Society of New South Wales in 2014. Natasha joined HBA in early 2015 with great experience in understanding clients’ businesses and helping manage their brand and risk. Natasha has an in-depth understanding of her clients’ needs which includes being involved in many aspects of her clients’ operations, not just managing claims and disputes.
Natasha is an experienced litigator with expertise in complex matters, including strong experience in catastrophic injury. Natasha has worked across many different areas of insurance law including property damage, fraud, CTP, workers’ compensation and public liability.
Natasha has had two landmark wins in the Court of Appeal for a large supermarket and a cleaning company, and another significant win in the District Court. These were precedent setting cases which have changed the shape of future similar cases. In line with HBA’s approach, Natasha partners with clients to ensure their business goals are met, with her personable approach lending itself to the needs of personal injury matters. This means using alternative dispute resolutions to resolve matters in the clients’ best interests. However, when needed, Natasha will pull out all stops to fight for her client.
Natasha also has also advised in relation to life insurance claims, contractual disputes and assisted clients on insurance and risk issues generally. Natasha has a passion for helping clients on a pro-bono basis on a variety of insurance and contractual matters.
