I practice in civil litigation, with a special interest in employment and industrial law. I accept briefs in most areas of civil law.
I completed a Bachelor of Law and Legal Practice in 2010. From 2011 - 2015 I worked for the Liquor, Hospitality and Miscellaneous Workers Union, primarily in Workers Compensation, Industrial and Employment appearing regularly in the then Workers Compensation Tribunal, Industrial Relations Commission of South Australia, South Australian Industrial Relations Court, Fair Work Commission and Federal Circuit Court.
From 2015 - 2017 I worked in private practice for Lieschke & Weatherill Lawyers doing a mixture of Workers Compensation, Industrial, Employment and Discrimination work, as well as defence work for trade unions and union officials against claims brought in the Federal and Federal Circuit courts by the Director of the Fair Work Building Industry Inspectorate (now Australian Building and Construction Commission) and General Manager of the Fair Work Commission.
I then worked for the Construction, Forestry, Maritime, Mining and Energy Union as a National Legal Officer based in Melbourne, representing CFMMEU members and the union across multiple states and jurisdictions in relation to employment entitlements, discrimination and industrial matters including alleged unprotected industrial action and related matters.
In 2019 I returned to Adelaide and commenced practice as a barrister at Victoria Square Chambers with Dr Rachael Gray QC.
