Robyn is an Accredited Family Law Specialist and has worked exclusively as a Family Lawyer for over 25 years.
Robyn graduated from the University of Western Australia in 1991 and was admitted to the Supreme Court of Western Australia in 1992 and the High Court of Australia in 1993.
Robyn has been practising Family Law since 1992. She became an Accredited Family Law Specialist in 1999 and a Nationally Accredited Mediator with AIFLAM in 2012.
Robyn is rated by Doyle’s Guide as one of the Leading Family Lawyers (High-Value and Complex Property Matters) in Western Australia, 2018. Robyn has also been recognised by Doyle’s Guide as one of the Recommended Leading Family Law Mediators – Western Australia, 2018.
Robyn was also rated by Doyle’s Guide as one of the Recommended Leading Family & Divorce Law Lawyers and as one of the Recommended High-Value & Complex Matters Family Lawyers – Western Australia, 2017.
Robyn’s interests in Family Law are wide ranging and, in particular, include matters involving Businesses, Trusts, Companies and large Property Settlements. In the event parties are able to reach agreement regarding their matters, Robyn is highly experienced in formalizing such agreements by way of Financial Agreements or Consent Orders. In February 2016 and June 2016 Robyn presented a Paper in relation to Financial Agreements to the Family Law Practitioner’s Association and then at a Legalwise Seminar.
In June 2017 and September 2017 Robyn co-presented a Paper titled “Untangling the Discretionary Family Trust” for a Legalwise Seminar and then for Law Central, aimed at Accountants.
In November 2017, Robyn Chaired a Seminar for the Law Society in relation to financial matters in Family Law Practice.
Robyn is a Member of the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia, the Family Law Practitioner’s Association of Western Australia and the Law Society of Western Australia.
Robyn combines her extensive Family Law knowledge with a practical and pragmatic approach to ensure she can obtain the best possible outcome for her client, tailored for each client’s specific circumstances.
