Sagorika specialises in employment law and industrial relations, having practised almost exclusively in this area since admission.
She has a special interest in complex employment disputes such as misleading and deceptive conduct, and disputes involving the interface between the Fair Work Act 2009 and other statutes, such as the Workplace Injury Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 2013 (Vic).
Sagorika accepts brief across the full spectrum of employment law disputes. She also accepts briefs for consumer law, occupational health and safety, and corporations act matters.
Other than private practice, Sagorika has extensive experience volunteering in community legal centres including AED Legal and Monash Springvale Legal Centre in Victoria.
Sagorika is passionate about human rights, speaks three languages, and has been published in Oxford Public International Law (Online Journal) and Rapporteur.
