Sam has an intellectual property and general commercial practice. He appears in the Federal Court, State Courts and Tribunals, and before IP Australia.
Sam accepts briefs in all areas of IP, including trade marks, patents, copyright, designs, confidential information, and restraint of trade matters. He also accepts briefs in competition and consumer law, contractual disputes, insolvency and corporations disputes, and other general commercial matters.
Prior to joining the Bar, Sam worked at an international law firm where he worked on various high-profile litigious matters. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons I) and Bachelor of Arts both from the University of Queensland.
