Simon Bennett is the Managing Director of Southern Waters Legal and began the firm in 2009 when he realised there was a need for expert law advice with the affordability and accessibility often missing from larger firms. Simon likes to think outside the box and often describes himself as a Businessman and Solicitor. Simon is not your typical Solicitor, preferring to develop friendly relationships with his clients.
Prior to starting Southern Waters Legal, Simon worked for a national law firm based in Sydney and has over 15 years experience in advising on Business, Superannuation & Taxation and Estate Incapacity & Succession Planning. Simon is also a chartered Tax Advisor and provides advice on Asset Protection and Structuring.
Simon has a Masters of Law from the University of New South Wales having completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Wollongong. Simon also has a Masters of Commerce from the University of Wollongong.
