Mr Joyner obtained his training and experience as a criminal defence lawyer from working with two well respected law firms. When completing his law degree he worked at Murphy’s Lawyers practising exclusively in criminal law. At this time he worked on many large and complex matters.
His post-graduate experience was obtained from Marsden’s Law Group. He would regularly appear at Campbelltown Local Court and Children’s Court as the duty lawyer. Further, he undertook duty work at the Mental Health Review Tribunal at Campbelltown Hospital. At these hearing’s he would represent clients who challenged their detention and/or treatment under the Mental Health Act. Whilst at Marsden’s he worked on a voluntary basis at Macarthur Legal Centre and Inner City Legal Centre.
Since commencing the partnership Mr Joyner has represented clients in large complex matters including murder, large commercial drug supply, money laundering, proceeds of crime, and breaches of the Copyright Act to name a few. Further, he was recently involved in one of Australia’s largest criminal trial’s which gave him invaluable experience. Since commencing law he has gained a plethora of experience of which he has formed a strong commitment to defending peoples rights.
