When Steve is not competing in the Noosa Triathlon or swimming to Rottnest Island, he is one of the Directors of Merthyr Law.
Steve Grant practises in estate planning, business and investment structures and taxation.
His expertise is in the area of tax effective business and investment structures to protect assets for the family.
He focuses on ensuring clients’ interests can and will be transferred down from generation to generation without loss to outsiders and ensuring clients’ home and investment assets are quarantined from the risks of their business activities.
Steve began his legal career with a medium size Brisbane law firm where he completed his Articles of Clerkship. In 1988 he became a Partner of that same firm and continued there for 11 years.
On 1 July 1999, Steve established his own firm, Grants Lawyers, specialising in estate planning, business and investment structures and taxation. Grants has now become Merthyr Law.
