Troy Maloney leads the law firm Camber Law & Advisory. With more than a decade of post-admission experience, Troy acts as trusted long-term legal counsel to founder-led businesses, from early-stage structuring and commercial contracting, to intellectual property protection, capital raisings and exits.
He advises Australian and international businesses across fintech, travel, health, manufacturing and real estate. His clients are typically founders and directors who need a lawyer who understands that every legal decision has a commercial consequence and acts accordingly.
After spending his formative years at Queensland’s largest law firm in the Corporate Advisory and Intellectual Property & Competition teams, he relocated to the Gold Coast where he worked on aggregation and ASX listing projects in the Corporate team of a large Gold Coast firm. More recently, Troy spent five years running his practice in collaboration with a leading Gold Coast property law firm, where he also developed significant expertise across commercial leasing, resumptions and market-leading property development transactions.
With in-house secondment experience at a global on- and off-highway business and a corporate solicitor role at a boutique tax advisory law firm, Troy brings rounded experience to client engagements.
