Pricing Report – Employment Adelaide, 2015

With a broad spread of firm types and models actively participating in the South Australian employment law market there’s a converse tendency to gratvate towards the middle on the pricing front.

As per usual South Australia struggles to rise above the $500 per hour mark. Some 74% of the state’s employment lawyers find comfort in that pricing band and only 2% of the market sit above this level.  That’s in stark contrast to most other states where typically only smaller boutique/specialist firms tend to price themselves under the $500 band.

The comparative affordability of South Australia’s employment lawyers also sees a comparative lack of pricing innovation.  Employment lawyers in other Australia states almost universally step outside of the hourly rate model however in South Australia only some 74% of individuals do so.
