Harry has practised for more than a decade in family law and de facto relationships. He is a Senior Associate and an Accredited Specialist in Family Law. He spent the first half of his career in Sydney, and has extensive experience litigating a variety of difficult property settlement and parenting matters; experience which he uses to protect clients and their children from the negative impacts of litigation where possible.
Harry has been recognised as a Family Law Rising Star in the Doyle’s Guide to the Australian Legal Profession in 2019 and 2021. He is a trained Collaborative Law Practitioner. He sits on the Executive Committee of the Family Law Practitioner’s Association of Queensland, and has provided pro bono advice at Caxton Legal Centre since 2017.
In property settlement matters, Harry has a strong interest in helping the parties’ resolve their matters in a way that preserves their ongoing business interests and income earning potential. In parenting matters, Harry has extensive experience acting in matters where a party has been charged with related criminal offences, and managing the intersection of criminal law and family law.
Above all, Harry aims to resolve matters in a manner that keeps children squarely in mind.
Harry has been elected to the Board of the Family Law Practitioners Association in Queensland for 2022-23.
