Bronwyn Gunning holds a Bachelor of Arts degree (Honours) from the University of New South Wales and a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Sydney.
Bronwyn has been practising primarily in the area of family law since being admitted as a solicitor in 2005. Bronwyn became an Accredited Family Law Specialist in 2015.
She is experienced in all aspects of family law including: property, parenting, spouse maintenance, child support, financial agreements and contravention applications. She also practises in the areas of wills and estate planning, along with litigation involving will disputes.
She is also available to assist in the areas of Enduring Powers of Attorney (both Medical Treatment and Financial) and Enduring Powers of Guardianship.
Prior to joining Carew Counsel, Bronwyn worked as a paralegal for Counsel while completing her studies and then as a solicitor for a suburban legal practice. In this role, she gained experience representing clients in a range of diverse, often challenging and complex matters.
Throughout her legal career, she has regularly appeared in the Family Court of Australia, the Federal Circuit Court of Australia, and the Supreme Court as well as in local courts and tribunals.
