John has advised, guided and represented clients in wills and estates disputes and family law matters for over 30 years. His extensive wills and estates expertise means his practice now focuses on wills and estate administration issues, bequest issues, testamentary capacity, cy-pres schemes (in particular for charities), and family provision matters. John also has considerable experience acting in litigation relating to contested wills and estates and family provision matters.
Beyond wills and estates John also manages a range of family law work and draws on his broad experience to advise on options and potential outcomes for property settlement and children’s issues, de facto relationships, financial agreements and divorces.
John also advises charities and not-for-profits on best practice codes of practice and governance issues and procedures.
