Allison is a Principal Lawyer at Harwood Andrews Albury. She joined the firm in February 2016 to establish the Albury office.
Allison graduated from the University of New England with a Bachelor of Laws and also holds a Bachelor of Business and a Graduate Diploma in Dispute Resolution.
Allison has significant experience in the area of wills and estates. She regularly drafts wills, testamentary trusts, powers of attorney and enduring guardians for her clients. She provides estate planning advice including strategies to minimise the risk of challenges to a will. She also has extensive experience in estate administration and the negotiation and litigation of contested estates such as family provision claims and testamentary incapacity cases.
Allison also acts for clients in commercial transactions providing commercial and practical advice with respect to the sale and purchase of businesses, property transactions and leasing.
Allison grew up in Albury Wodonga and is actively engaged with her local community. She is the President of the Albury & District Law Society, a Director of Albury Northside Chamber of Commerce and a Director of Albury Wodonga Connected Communities Ltd (a community initiative of the Bendigo Bank). She also volunteers at the Hume Riverina Community Legal Service evening legal advice clinic, is a member of a scheme that provides pro-bono wills to palliative care patients and is a member of the Albury Cooperative Legal Service Delivery Program.
