Portia Winkler is an accomplished professional with over 20 years plus experience in numerous versatile positions. Portia is an accomplished legal professional with seniority, experience, and expertise, particularly in the area of family law. Portia’s experience ranges from administration, legal process, legislation, policy review, planning, and coordination. Portia has had a very diverse career and worked in hospitality whilst studying, and then a member of parliament, and the Department of Attorney General: State Solicitors Office.
Portia has a passion for family law and continued that passion by pursuing a Master’s in Applied Law (majoring in family law) with the College of Law. Portia will be completing her Masters in about 2024. Portia holds a double degree in Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts (majoring in Politics) from the University of Notre Dame. Portia practises exclusively in all areas of family law, including parenting, property settlement, and family violence restraining orders.
Portia Winkler aims to ensure parties resolve matters in a quick and cost-effective manner which enables clients to avoid Court proceedings where possible and seek a quick resolution.
Portia is a member of the Law Society of Western Australia and the Family Law Practitioners Association of Western Australia.
