Minter Ellison has advised Apollo Global Management, LLC in its acquisition of the McGraw-Hill education business for a purchase price of US$2.4 billion in cash.
The McGraw-Hill education business has operations across Europe, North and South America, Asia and Australasia. Apollo Global Management is one of the world’s largest alternative investment managers, with more than US$113 billion of assets under management.
Minters enjoys a strong relationship with Apollo having advised the company in relation to direct investments in Australia over many years, including on their investment in ASX-listed HFA Holdings Limited in 2010 and 2011.
