Trudie Cameron, Armstrong Legal

Trudie Cameron is recognised as an Accredited Specialist in Criminal Law by the Law Society of New South Wales. She practises exclusively in criminal and traffic law.

Trudie first joined Armstrong Legal as a solicitor in 2014. She is now Practice Director - Crime NSW. In addition to representing her clients, Trudie is responsible for the NSW Criminal Law team at Armstrong Legal. 

Trudie appears on behalf of her clients regularly in the Local and District Courts of New South Wales. She represents client’s in relation to all kinds of criminal matters, whether they relate to allegations of serious sexual offending, drug offences, violence offence or white collar crime. Trudie has also appeared with Counsel in the Supreme Court of New South Wales, New South Wales Court of Criminal Appeal and the High Court.

Trudie is an all-rounder who excels in written and oral legal submissions, as well as conducting lengthy defended hearings. She combines her impressive skills in advocacy and legal analysis with a focus on her client’s interests and wellbeing. She recognises that a client’s matter extends beyond the law itself. Criminal charges often have consequences for her clients work, travel, physical and mental health, and relationships with families and friends. She is skilled at guiding clients through what is often the most difficult time of their life.

Trudie is passionate about the law and ensuring justice is done. Her adversarial skill set combined with her knowledge, experience and enthusiasm for the criminal law ensures all her clients receive representation of the highest quality. Because of this, she is well regarded not only by clients  but also by both her peers in the industry and members of the judiciary.
