Luana is currently General counsel and Company Secretary with property developer Time & Place. Luana has broad legal experience advising clients on complex real estate transactions, including acquisitions, forward funds, mixed-use, retail, office and industrial developments, BTR, leasing land subdivisions, office and property joint ventures, property financing and restructures.
Key deals have included the acquisition of Northcote Plaza, the Alphington Papermill site and Hotel Lindrum, the forward fund acquisition of the MYOB office building in Cremorne by AXA, advising on the Armstrong Creek Town Centre, the $600m, the QIC redevelopment of Eastland, the Caydon development of the Nylex site in Richmond, a strata renewal process in NSW, advising on structuring for a large affordable housing program, the acquisition, financing and development of QV in Melbourne as well as large scale leasing for national retailers, industrial groups and office transactions.
As General Counsel and Company Secretary Luana also has experience in legal processes, establishing the in-house legal function, technology, board management, corporate governance, privacy compliance and intellectual property.
Luana is listed on the Legal 500: GC Powerlist 2022 and has have successfully completed the Australian Institute of Company Directors course and the QIC senior leadership program.
