DG Family Law (‘DGFL’) was founded by Joshua Davis with a vision to offer something better than the status quo, with a focus on people over profits.
Inspired by the story of David & Goliath, the firm aims to bring hope to those navigating family challenges, reflecting the ethos of resilience and overcoming adversity.

Joshua Davis, our Managing Partner, leads the DGFL team with extensive experience and a passion for helping families find solutions that honour their unique circumstances. From its humble beginnings, DGFL has grown steadily, operating across multiple locations in Melbourne's southeast, developing strong processes to care for both our clients and our team.

Joshua brings extensive experience in family law litigation and negotiation, with a reputation for calm, focused leadership and ensuring the values of DG Family Law are applied to every client. His oversight ensures every matter benefits from strategic depth and senior insight.
David Hopkins – Office Manager
David oversees the operational, administrative, and client care functions of the firm across the offices. He plays a key role in ensuring a seamless experience for clients, supporting staff, and maintaining efficiency and high service standards throughout every stage of a matter.
Ryan Arulrajah – Associate
Ryan is known for his practical, clear legal advice and his strong understanding of complex property matters. He balances technical skill with empathy and a client-first approach.
Benjamin Wilson – Associate
Benjamin brings strong advocacy to each case, ensuring clients receive thoughtful and thorough representation throughout the process. He is particularly well-versed in parenting and IVO matters, having worked as a duty lawyer for several years prior to his time at DG Family Law.
Daniel Weaich – Junior Solicitor
Daniel supports clients with care and diligence. He has a growing practice in both parenting and property matters and brings commitment and calmness to every matter.
Luke Crnkovic – Legal Assistant
Luke assists in the preparation of legal documents, client communication, and case management. He is currently completing his legal qualifications and is expected to commence as a junior solicitor in the near future. His approach is thorough, respectful, and client focused.
Seth Benchick – Legal Assistant
Seth assists the legal team with case preparation, client communications, and matter progression. He is known for his client care and responsiveness.
