Ryan commenced his career with V.A.J. Byrne & Co. Lawyers in January 2015. Born in Gladstone and raised across remote communities in the Northern Territory and Central Queensland, Ryan brings a deep understanding of regional life and its unique challenges. After completing high school in Mackay, he attended James Cook University in Townsville, graduating with a law degree in 2015.
In 2020, Ryan obtained a Master of Laws (Applied Law) with a dual major in Estate Planning and Wills & Estates, further enhancing his expertise in succession law. Ryan is a member of the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners. His advanced qualifications and regional background make him one of the most knowledgeable practitioners in the field across regional Queensland.
In 2022, Ryan was appointed Legal Practitioner Director of V.A.J. Byrne & Co. Lawyers and now manages the Bundaberg office. His primary areas of practice include Personal Injury Law, Wills and Estate Planning, and Estate Litigation. He also maintains strong ties to the Gladstone region, continuing to work with clients from the area.Â
Ryan is committed to delivering high-quality legal services to clients throughout regional Queensland. He is an active member of Rotary and is dedicated to giving back to the community. Outside of work, Ryan enjoys spending time with his young family, helping on the family farm, and fishing.
