I am a pragmatic tenacious individual with a focus on consumer law and commercial litigation, acting predominantly for automotive manufacturers, property groups, and commercial clients.
I have developed a strong practice in Australian Consumer Law, with particular expertise in advising automotive manufacturers and dealers in disputes involving alleged major failures, product defects, and warranty claims.
I regularly represent clients in tribunal and Court proceedings and have successfully defended a number of claims seeking vehicle “buy backs” and significant damages, including securing the withdrawal of claims against manufacturers in multi-party proceedings.
I have acted for premium Motor vehicle manufacturers and provide ongoing strategic advice in relation to escalated consumer disputes, risk mitigation, and compliance with consumer guarantees.
My work has contributed to a measurable reduction in claims exposure and “buy back” risk, as well as the implementation of improved internal processes for handling consumer complaints and repairs.
My broader litigation experience includes commercial disputes, debt recovery, family law matters, and regulatory matters.
Additionally, I also advise on commercial leasing, contract reviews, and property transactions, particularly for property investment clients.
I have been recognised for my commercially focused approach and my ability to resolve disputes efficiently while minimising reputational and financial risk for my clients.
In addition to my legal practice, I have delivered presentations to dealership networks on consumer law compliance and risk management.
I currently hold a Master of Laws (Commercial Litigation and Mediation) and am an accredited mediator through AMDRAS.
