Michael Rodrigues

Michael Rodrigues, B.A. (Crim. & Pol. Sci.); J.D.; GDLP; NAM; FDRP – is the Principal of My Legal Crunch Lawyers and Skip the Conflict Mediation Services.

Michael is an Australian qualified lawyer, also holding admission to practice in the High Court of Australia, Ontario Superior Court of Justice, and the High Court of New Zealand.

Over the past decade, Michael has developed his skills as a lawyer, advocator and mediator across the nation, having appeared in most States and Territories on a regular basis.

Michael represents clients across a broad spectrum of legal areas, including Family, Domestic Violence, Criminal, Corporate, and Estates. His expertise as a skilled negotiator and advocate has enabled him to successfully resolve numerous legal challenges for his clients.

Michael is adept at handling complex legal matters, including those with international components. He is proficient in drafting various legal documents, such as deeds of settlement, employment contracts, financial agreements, statements of claim, etc. Michael regularly appears in Court as an Independent Children’s Lawyer, advocating for children in high-risk cases. Michael also acts as a consulting lawyer and mediator for other firms.

As an Accredited Mediator and Registered Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner, Michael can issue Section 60I Certificates in parenting matters. Michael regularly conducts mediations involving workplace disputes, property and business matters.

Michael enjoys advocating for his clients in litigation matters, however his passion lies in helping clients resolve their legal issues outside of Court whenever possible, striving to negotiate settlement agreements by consent. His relentless yet balanced approach ensures that his clients receive comprehensive and effective legal representation, making him a sought-after advocate in his field.

The ethos that Michael has adopted, is one better put by the then lawyer, Abraham Lincoln, and future President of the United States:
