Despite its small size the Tasmanian Bar presents a solid pool of practitioners with capabilities within the area of employment and workplace relations. Although there are individuals with capabilities in employment law it should be noted that pure economics mean that Tasmania’s barrister’s typically cannot afford to practice exclusively within the area of employment and thus many also practice within areas such as general civil litigation and insurance.
